Здравствуй, тебя приветствует администрация нового литературного форумно-ролевого проекта «Jacksonville: The New Live Story». Я не буду рассказывать о наших плюсах или минусах, скажу лишь, что мы другие. У нас нет волшебных мантий-неведимок, скатертей самобранок, волшебных палочек и крыльев фей, но у нас в наличии сказочной красоты леса, невероятной высоты небоскребы, жесточайшие убийцы и педофилы-маньяки, шериф полиции, который достраивает жене уже пятый особняк на побережье и бедняки, роющиеся на помойках. Да, у нас реальная жизнь. Со всеми ее плюсами и минусами.
Итак, позвольте вам представить:
США. Штат Флорида. К северу от Сент Огастена расположен город Джексонвилл , это современный деловой и промышленный город, жители которого любят комфорт и стремятся к высокому качеству жизни. Здесь все делается для удобства: хорошо обустроены автомобильные и ж/д дороги, высоко развита инфраструктура морских и воздушных сообщений.
1950 год. Двое молодых людей, два друга, Джефферсон Коллинз и Мартин Ландберг, сидели в сыром пабе «Сорванная башня», набирались виски и строили пьяные планы на будущее. Дойдя до кондиции, им пришло в голову открыть свой собственный бизнес, чтобы в будущем, ни они сами, ни их дети не нуждались ни в чем, как это было с их отцами. Они поклялись друг другу, что всю оставшуюся жизнь они будут дружить и помогать развитию компаний обоих.

Смогут ли внуки основателей Landstar System и MPS Group продолжить дело своих предков? Насколько удачными или, наоборот, проигрышными будут их действия? Не повторят ли они судьбу своих родственников?
